MDI is organizing a meeting with Australian women in arts to help young people with intellectual disabilities.
Mrs Sue Roff is leading a delegation of highly experienced and internationally well reputed Australian women in the arts professions. They came to Tunisia to share experiences with Tunisians in the arts and film to help young people with intellectual disabilities. An historic visit that would have many positive outcomes far into the future.
SUE ROFF has had a broad career in arts management. For the past 10 years she has held the role of Executive Director at Arts Project Australia, a centre of excellence that supports artists with intellectual disabilities, promoting their work and advocating for their inclusion within contemporary art practice. During this time, Sue has driven a strong increase in profile for the organisation, its artists and unique studio practice.
Prior to this Sue was the National Manager, Cultural Development at the Australia Business Arts Foundation, where she oversaw the professional development program for arts organisations and individual artists, a skilled volunteering program and partnering program for local councils. Sue is experienced in project development, fundraising, sponsorship, and marketing and is currently the President of the Public Galleries Association of Victoria.
